Hydronic modular radiant & hybrid system

CLIMASET s.r.l. offers the radiant and hybrid modular system for managing the temperature, humidity and production of hot sanitary water of environments in which we live and work.

The architecture of the system allows the construction of single-zone and multi-zone systems managed by a single controller (apartments, villas, offices, etc.) or multiple controllers distributed on a field bus (condominiums, school buildings, etc).

Modular radiant & hybrid system: management of temperature, humidity and production of hot sanitary water.

Strongpoints of the radiant and hybrid system

  • Regulation for all type of system, small, medium and large ones.
  • Each pCO5+ regulator can manage up to four mixing valves and twenty-three different zones.
  • The regulation can be distributed on the Fieldbus to minimize the costs of electrical wiring.
  • Shared thermal power plant: the management of the devices in the thermal power plant can be centralized on a single controller (boiler call, chiller call, single external probe, etc.
  • A vast range of sensors (KTHth-TuneIAQ probespGDX) for monitoring temperature, humidity and air quality, for Keystone RJ45, wall or duct mounted.
  • Air exchanges from time slots or with the VOC air quality probe, management of supply temperature limit with valve and/or damper closing and freecooling management.
  • Energy optimization and savings, even with the photovoltaic.

New: thTx and hybrid systems

thTx Carel thermostat, useful for making hybrid systemsThe all-new thTx zone regulator is equipped with an embedded temperature/humidity probe (T+H) and four relays.

The user terminal thTx is 100% interchangeable with th-Tune and allows the user for the direct management of the zone head, directly from the terminal screen.

Hybrid hydronic systems

Introducing the new version of the radiant regulation: with the thTx capabilities it is now it is possible to engineer, combine and install radiant and fancoil hybrid systems.

Hybrid systems are those in which the radiant is used for heating, while fan-coils are reserved for cooling. Relays on board of the thTx regulator are used for managing zone valves (both in heating or cooling modes) and fancoil ventilation speed (three speeds available – cooling mode).

With the new version of the radiant regulation, you can engineer small or large system with just a pCO5+ small board and a bunch of thTx zone regulators. With this arrangement, there is less cluttering on the electrical panel, while the zone head managing from the thTX simplify cabling and leads to less installation time and costs.

Manage your system with the pCOWeb

The pCOWeb is an optional webserver card for pCO boards. We have developed web pages for managing your system from PCs and mobile devices.

pCOWeb SE - Optional webserver

With the pCOWeb for radiant systems you can:

  • check the status of the system devices and the zones currently configured,
  • change the various parameters of the zones such as setpoints, turn the zones ON/OFF, manage the HT head, the day/night mode, etc.,
  • manage the time bands and the other user configurations,
  • turn the system ON/OFF, choose the seasonal mode,
  • view and reset system alarms.

All you have to do is to open your browser, enter the pCOWeb address and you are ready to manage your radiant system!

If you want to control your system with an APP for smartphones and tablets, check the Plantgate, our proposal for the remote management of your system. With the Plantgate you don’t need to buy a static IP address for remotely connecting to your system, you just have to use our APP (or the web version via browser) for managing your radiant system anywhere in the world.

pGDx touch screen terminal

CLIMASET s.r.l. offers the pGDX 4.3” or the pGDX 7” for the complete user-side management of the radiant system. These new terminals, with a 65,000-color touch screen, can be wall mounted (recessed or external).

The pGDX can also be equipped with built-in temperature and humidity sensors: temperature and humidity data are sent to the pCO, so the touch screen works also as a probe sensor.

Please note: in a system there can be up to a maximum of 8 pGDX configured to send the temperature/humidity data to the pCO, always respecting the limit of 32 elements for the pLan network.

The pGDX touch screen for radiant systems is aestetically pleasing and easy to use. Next to the pGDX, the status LED bar lights up with a different colors depending on the season set and the presence of alarms.

The pGDX can also be used as a normal pGDN, thanks to the emulator on the configuration branch.
