The Belimo Energy Valve offers, in a single unit, the modulating spherical valve, the flow regulator and the measurement of the temperature delta.
The Belimo Energy Valve helps to reduce consumptions and CO2 emissions of buildings, by offering:
- the certified measurement of thermal energy (MID),
- the independent pressure control,
- the ΔT management (temperature delta).
The Belimo Energy Valve is also interfaceable with Climaset SRL BOSS range supervisors, thanks to the serial connection and the Modbus protocol.
The embedded control inside of the Belimo Energy Valve measures continuosly the temperature differential and compares it with the fixed limit setted by the user. If the temperature drops below the limit value, the Belimo Energy Valve automatically regulates the flow in order to remove the excess flow.
Heating or cooling systems that work with excessive water quantities are not able to convert this excessive flow in a greater heating or cooling capacity, therefore causing the low system delta T syndrome.
Measuring and controlling the temperature differential between supply and return in each heat exchanger is the key to acheive the lowest pumping cost possible. Belimo embedded logic stops incurrence of a low delta T on the heat exchanger, while keeping comfort.
Furthermore, with the Energy Valve, by working on the setted flow, all secondary system branches are always bilanced.
